This collection of abstract aspen tree images, uses long exposure photography to create movement. These images play with the abstraction of light, color, and form to create a unique visual experience of a familiar subject in Colorado. It’s about seeing aspen trees with new eyes. Arousing sentiments with architecture, one photographer’s personal view -a photographic series by Karen Desjardin “Architecture arouses sentiments in man. The architect’s task therefore, is to make those sentiments more precise." -Adolf Loos My task as the photographer for this series of images is to use those sentiments to create a personal view of contemporary architecture by zeroing in on the shapes, patterns, and details of great buildings and architectural projects that move me.
