A dead, fallen tree blocks a trail near Trappers Lake in the Flat Tops Wilderness Area of northwest Colorado. Fifteen years later, the fallen dead trees and standing dead trees are a reminder of the 2002 Big Fish Fire which scorched 17,000 acres and was caused by a lightning strike.
